Tulare County Federal Credit Union (TCFCU) was founded on April 15, 1939, as Tulare County Teachers Federal Credit Union. In 2002, we dropped the “Teachers” from our name and opened our doors to all of Tulare County, but we still take pride in our roots and place a very high value on education. As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution, profits are returned to members in the form of higher earnings on savings, lower rates on loans and fewer fees. Every member has a voice in the credit union’s operations; it’s leadership is made up of volunteers and has the membership’s best interests in mind. Once you are a member of Tulare County Federal Credit Union, you are a member for life.
Membership is open to people who live, work, worship, or attend school in Tulare County. Membership is also open to businesses and other legal entities located within Tulare County. Immediate family members and those who live in the same household as a qualified member are also eligible to join TCFCU.
